The concept is simple: one player is the Guesser and must figure out a secret word. Every other player writes a single one-word clue to help. The twist? If two or more players write the same clue, all copies are eliminated before the Guesser sees them. Create a room — tap "Create Room". You get a unique 5-letter room code. Share it with your friends via WhatsApp, Discord, text message, or any messaging app.
Friends join — they visit the site, enter their name, type your room code and tap "Join Room". Wait for everyone to arrive in the lobby.
Start the round — the designated word picker taps "Get Word". A secret word is assigned. All players except the Guesser can see it immediately.
Write your clue — each clue giver types exactly one word as a hint. One word only — no phrases, no hyphenated words, no spaces. Submit when ready.
Duplicates are removed — once everyone submits, HintDrop automatically finds duplicate or near-duplicate clues and eliminates them. The Guesser only sees unique clues.
The Guesser guesses — using only the surviving clues, the Guesser types their best answer. HintDrop's smart scoring accepts plurals, minor typos, and common spelling variations.
Scores update — a correct guess earns the Guesser 2 points and each clue giver 1 point. Then roles rotate and the next round begins!
